The History of France Told
The Alliance Francaise de Bangalore is proud to present an exhibition titled the “The History of France Told” from the 1st to the 31st of March 2015. The exhibition will be open to the public every day from ten ‘o’ clock in the morning to six ‘o’ clock in the evening. The organizers invite guests to visit with their friends and family to soak in the culture of France while enjoying the beautiful ambience at the Alliance Francaise De Bangalore.
The Lantern’s Executive Lunch
The Lantern Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton, Residency Road, Bangalore, presents a special executive lunch for the people of Bangalore. The lunch menu will be a four course menu and serve some unique oriental dishes. Guests can savour and enjoy an unlimited number of dim- sums along with the soup that best complements the meal. This executive lunch will prove to be a good opportunity for the guests to bond and have fun with their colleagues while enjoying completely healthy food. The management at the restaurant also claims that since the lunch is an executive lunch, the service will be quick. Hence, the guests don’t have to worry about getting late.
Crafts Workshop
A display of products by the Coppre will be open to the public from the 18th of February to the 31st of March 2015 at the Kamalini, Malleshwaram. Kamalini is the craft store of the Crafts Council of Karnataka and is the organizer of this Crafts workshop. Some of the products on display will also be for sale. Coppre products are a direct reflection of the culture and heritage of the craftsmen, who work with metal. Some of the best pieces of metal works will be on display. Guests can also buy any of the pieces that they may take a liking too. This workshop will also be an educational experience for children, who will get a history lesson on the importance and backgrounds of the crafts industry in Karnataka region.
Chirebandi Vaade- A Play
On the 31st of March 2015 from 7:30 PM onwards, the Ranga Shankara Theatre will present a play called the “Chirebandi Vaade” by playwright Mr. Mahesh Elkunchavar. The play will be directed by the renowned director Mr. Gopalakrishna Deshpande. The popular troupe, Abhinaya Tharanga of Bengaluru, will be performing in the play. The play is scheduled to run for a total duration of two hours and will be performed in the Kannada language.
