A Day On The Farm
The friendly family-run park is well-known in the farming community for its wide range of livestock and pedigree breeding programmes. The family has been farming for 55 years and has recently opened the stunning 100-acre farm for visitors and families to enjoy. Children under the age of 2 enjoy free entry, while full-price adult tickets cost just 6 pounds. A family ticket for two adults and two children (aged 3 to 16) costs just 18 pounds.
Farm park owner Michael Attwell said that he felt encouraged to push his public farm park plans forward this year after attracting more than 1,000 guests in 2017. “We aim to be educational as well as fun,” he commented, adding that his 13 grandchildren all love to get involved on the farm.
The attraction includes many wonderful animals such as llamas, donkeys, pigs, alpacas, cattle, chickens, sheep and more. It also features a coffee shop where guests can relax and unwind after enjoying the fresh air. The Rooster Coffee Shop, as it is known, is expected to soon begin serving homemade cakes. Accompanying farm shop stocks favorite produce along with specialties for each season and their offerings make perfect gifts. With a lambing shed, petting barn, go karts, pedal tractors, and farmyard trail, there is plenty here for all the family to enjoy whilst shedding some excess energy after being cooped up over the festive season.
